The St. Joseph Wildcats basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting St. Augustine Prep Hermits to 50 in the Wildcats league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now have a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wildwood Catholic for a Cape/Atlantic - American game on Friday, January 31. St. Joseph will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 67-62 non-league win over Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, St. Augustine Prep falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Hermits travel to Pitman (Pitman, NJ) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 10-4.
