Next, the Spartans encounter the Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA) in a Valley Mission test, on Friday, January 31. Sylmar will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Hunters come into the test with a 4-16 record after their 73-32 non-league loss to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA).

The Wolves (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Panorama (Panorama City, CA). The Pythons come into the Valley Mission test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Panorama was knocked off by Reseda (Reseda, CA), 80-53, in a league test.
