The Washougal Panthers (Washougal, WA) basketball edged the visiting Woodland Beavers (Woodland, WA), 46-44 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Ridgefield for a 2A Greater St. Helens bout on Friday, January 31. Washougal will play a Spudders team coming off a 84-52 league win over Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA). The Spudders record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Woodland falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Beavers host R.A. Long (Longview, WA) to play the Lumberjacks in a 2A Greater St. Helens bout on Friday, January 31. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 16-1. R.A. Long won 82-31 in their recent league bout against Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA)
