The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) and the visiting Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA), observed Bishop McCort's basketball team overwhelm Chestnut Ridge by a score of 63-31.

The Crushers (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Marauders come into the Laurel Highlands challenge with a 14-2 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Guilfoyle trounced Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA), 52-12, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Bald Eagle Area Eagles (Wingate, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Friday, January 31. Chestnut Ridge will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 52-12 league loss to Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA).
