The Hornets now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Chesapeake for a Ohio Valley bout on Thursday, January 30. Dawson-Bryant will play a Panthers team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Fairview falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY) to play the Blackcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. The Blackcats go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Prestonsburg won 69-52 in their recent non-league bout against Belfry (Belfry, KY)
