Nevada High School Basketball - Las Vegas trounced by Desert Oasis

January 29, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89141

Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV), 59-23 in a league match.

With the victory, Desert Oasis advances its record to 13-9 on the year. The Diamondbacks host Centennial (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Bulldogs in a 5A Southern match on Friday, January 31. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 16-2. Centennial won 79-50 in their recent league match against Coronado (Henderson, NV)

The Wildcats now own a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Desert Pines for a 5A Southern match on Friday, January 31. Las Vegas will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 61-41 league loss to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-10.
