The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) and the visiting Whitmire Wolverines (Whitmire, SC), observed Dixie's basketball team overwhelm Whitmire by a score of 68-22.

The Hornets (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind (Spartanburg, SC). The Hornets come into the A Region 1 challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind was routed by Whitmire (Whitmire, SC), 75-5, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines encounter the Abbeville Panthers (Abbeville, SC) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Whitmire will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record.
