Illinois High School Basketball - Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine thwarts Dugger Union

January 29, 2025: Oblong, IL

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine (Oblong, IL) and the visiting Dugger Union Bulldogs (Dugger, IN), observed Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine's basketball team knock off Dugger Union by a score of 54-46.

The (9-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN). The Lakers come into the non-league challenge with a 12-10 record. In their last challenge, Shakamak dropped by Vincennes Lincoln (Vincennes, IN), 54-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine (Oblong, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Dugger Union will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record.
