In Wednesday's league contest, the host St. Ignace Saints basketball team scored a big 84-13 triumph over the Engadine Eagles.
The Saints (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Manistique (Manistique, MI). The Emeralds go into the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Manistique was trounced by Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI), 59-44, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Rudyard Bulldogs (Rudyard, MI) in a Eastern Upper Peninsula contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Engadine will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record.
