The Blackhawks (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA). The Saints come into the Desert Empire challenge with a 9-17 record. In their last challenge, Xavier Prep trounced Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA), 42-25, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rattlers battle the Desert Mirage RAMS (Thermal, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Rancho Mirage will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The RAMS come into the challenge with a 0-21 record after their 57-14 league loss to Banning (Banning, CA).
