The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) and the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), observed Libertyville's basketball team edge Lake Zurich by a score of 50-45.

The Wildcats (19-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs come into the North Suburban challenge with a 17-10 record. In their last challenge, Mundelein was tipped by Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL), 63-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) in a North Suburban challenge, on Friday, January 31. Lake Zurich will attempt to improve on its 17-7 season record.
