The Wisdom Pioneers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Madawaska Owls to 7 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pioneers now have a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Aroostook for a D North game on Friday, January 31. Wisdom will confront a Warriors team coming off a 46-40 league loss to Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 5-12.

With the loss, Madawaska falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Owls host Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME) to confront the Hawks in a C North game on Thursday, January 30. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 7-10. Hodgdon won 51-31 in their recent non-league game against East Grand (Dansforth, ME)
