Ohio High School Basketball - Mayfield knocks off South

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Mayfield Wildcats basketball team scored a good 45-35 win over the South Rebels.
The Wildcats (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Hilltoppers come into the Western Reserve contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Chardon defeated North (Eastlake, OH), 50-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a Western Reserve contest, on Saturday, February 1. South will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Bombers come into the contest with a 9-8 record after their 43-40 league win over Riverside (Painesville, OH).
