The Midway Raiders basketball squad (Dunn, NC), lost 41-24 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC)

With the victory, Red Springs advances its record to 6-12 on the year. The Red Devils host Fairmont (Fairmont, NC) to meet the Golden Tornadoes in a 2A Southeastern battle on Friday, January 31. The Golden Tornadoes enter the battle with a record of 16-1. Fairmont won 55-33 in their recent league battle against Clinton (Clinton, NC)

The Raiders now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a 2A Southeastern battle on Friday, January 31. Midway will meet a Dark Horses squad coming off a 66-44 league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 11-7.
