Georgia High School Basketball - Sandy Creek overwhelms Spalding

The Sandy Creek Patriots basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Spalding Jaguars to 28 in the Patriots league triumph on Wednesday.

The Patriots now have a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Fayette County for a AAA Region 2 game on Saturday, February 1. Sandy Creek will confront a Tigers team coming off a 50-14 league win over LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Spalding falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a AAA Region 2 game on Friday, January 31. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-22. Whitewater lost 66-20 in their recent league game against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA)
