The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA) and the visiting Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA), observed Windsor's basketball team knock off Southampton by a score of 38-24.

The Dukes (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Franklin, VA). The Broncos come into the Tri-Rivers challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Franklin dropped by Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA), 61-15, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA) in a Tri-Rivers challenge, on Friday, January 31. Southampton will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 39-8 league win over Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA).
