The Varela Vipers basketball team scored 25 points and limited the host Sunset Knights to 19 in the Vipers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vipers now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Miami Beach for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Varela will confront a Hi-Tides team coming off a 33-29 non-league loss to iMater Charter (Hialeah, FL). The Hi-Tides record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Sunset falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Killian (Miami, FL) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 10-2. Killian won 63-17 in their recent non-league game against American (Hialeah, FL)
