Texas High School Soccer - Stratford knocks off Jersey Village

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Stratford Spartans soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Jersey Village Falcons.

The Spartans (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Bobcats go into the 6A Region 3 District 17 outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Cy-Fair was overwhelmed by Memorial (Houston, TX), 3-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region 3 District 17 outing, on Saturday, February 1. Jersey Village will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cypress Creek (Houston, TX).
