The Hotchkiss School Bearcats ice hockey team scored 2 points and held the host Berkshire School Bears to 1 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Bearcats now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deerfield Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Hotchkiss School will encounter a Big Green team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Big Green record now stands at 12-5.

With the defeat, Berkshire School moves to 15-4 on the season. The Bears host Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY) to play the Cadets in a non-league contest on Friday, January 31. The Cadets go into the contest with a record of 4-18. Albany Academy for Boys lost 4-3 in their recent non-league contest against Canterbury School (New Milford, CT)
