The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Deerfield Academy Big Green (Deerfield, MA) and the visiting Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT), witnessed Deerfield Academy's ice hockey team defeat Westminster School by a final score of 5-2.

The Big Green (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Hotchkiss School got by Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Martlets battle the Kent School Lions (Kent, CT) in a challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Westminster School will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 4-2 league loss to Taft School (Watertown, CT).
