Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) fans went home pleased Wednesday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the visiting Crownpoint Eagles (Crownpoint, NM), 102-31 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Newcomb (Newcomb, NM). The Skyhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Crownpoint will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 32-27 non-league win over Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM).
