In Wednesday's non-league test, the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), by a score of 64-39.

Next, the Blue Devils encounter the James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 31. South Lenoir will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record.

The Bulldogs (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Croatan (Newport, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Croatan was routed by Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 55-19, in a league test.
