The Latta Vikings basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting East Clarendon Wolverines to 37 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Green Sea Floyds for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Latta will confront a Trojans team coming off a 43-33 non-league win over Lake View (Lake View, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, East Clarendon falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Kingstree (Kingstree, SC) to confront the Blazers in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Blazers go into the game with a record of 11-5. Kingstree won 35-23 in their recent league game against Marion (Marion, SC)
