The Frederick Cadets basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots to 28 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cadets now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Hagerstown for a non-league game on Friday, January 31.

With the loss, Governor Thomas Johnson falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Urbana (Ijamsville, MD) to face the Hawks in a match on Tuesday, February 4. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 9-5. Urbana won 50-46 in their recent league match against South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD)
