The Midlothian Trojans basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Powhatan Indians to 46 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Trojans now have a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Clover Hill for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Midlothian will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 54-39 non-league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Powhatan falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-6. Richmond City School of the Arts lost 100-0 in their recent non-league game against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA)
