The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Yuba City Honkers to 42 in the Miners league triumph on Wednesday.

The Miners now have a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to River Valley for a game on Friday, January 31. Nevada Union will confront a Falcons team coming off a 61-48 league win over Placer (Auburn, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Yuba City falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Honkers travel to Roseville (Roseville, CA) to confront the Tigers in a game on Friday, January 31. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 8-13. Roseville lost 64-56 in their recent non-league game against Woodcreek (Roseville, CA)
