Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the American Canyon Wolves (American Canyon, CA) and the visiting Napa Grizzlies (Napa, CA), saw American Canyon's soccer squad hold off Napa by a count of 1-0.

The Wolves (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA). The Dragons enter the VVAL battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Sonoma Valley was edged by Vintage (Napa, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Grizzlies battle the Petaluma Trojans (Petaluma, CA) in a VVAL challenge, on Friday, January 31. Napa will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA).
