The Blades (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against North (Bakersfield, CA). The Stars enter the South Yosemite - Mountain battle with a 2-19 record. In their last battle, North was edged by Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Mira Monte Lions (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 31. South will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 12-3 record after their 1-1 league Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA).
