South Carolina High School Basketball - Cross toppled by Dorchester Academy

Dorchester Academy Raiders (St. George, SC) backers went home thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Cross Stingrays (Bluffton, SC), 81-69 in a non-league contest.

The Raiders (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian (Summerville, SC). The Knights go into the SCISA 2A Region II contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Faith Christian was dropped by Providence Athletic Club (Columbia, SC), 83-47, in a non-league outing.

The Stingrays (11-13) will now prepare for their outing against Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA). The Blazers enter the SCISA 2A Region III outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Bethesda Academy ran past Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt, SC), 64-50, in a league outing.
