With the victory, Academy for Academic Excellence upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA) to play the Bears in a Cross Valley challenge on Friday, January 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Big Bear won 63-49 in their recent league challenge against University Prep (Victorville, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) in a Cross Valley challenge, on Friday, January 6. Excelsior Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Silver Knights come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 43-40 non-league loss to Sultana (Hesperia, CA).
