Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad wallop the host Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA), 64-29 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Anacoco improves its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA) to confront the Bulldogs in a B District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-7.

Next up, the Wampus Cats confront the Oakdale Warriors (Oakdale, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Leesville will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 74-58 non-league win over Rapides (Lecompte, LA).
