Wisconsin High School Basketball - Baraboo can't hold off Poynette

The Poynette Pumas basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Baraboo Thunderbirds to 57 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pumas now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lodi for a Capitol - North contest on Friday, January 6. Poynette will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 55-36 non-league loss to Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-3.
The Thunderbirds (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI). The Beavers enter the Badger - West contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Reedsburg was nudged by DeForest (DeForest, WI), 72-68, in a non-league contest.
