The Basehor-Linwood Bobcats basketball squad scored 39 points and limited the host Leavenworth PIONEERS to 28 in the Bobcats non-league win on Tuesday.

With the win, Basehor-Linwood upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Turner (Kansas City, KS) to play the Golden Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Turner lost 76-42 in their recent non-league bout against Piper (Kansas City, KS)

Next up, the PIONEERS play the Seaman Vikings (Topeka, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Leavenworth will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 57-48 non-league loss to De Soto (De Soto, KS).
