Bettendorf Bulldogs (Bettendorf, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA), 57-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bettendorf upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Assumption (Davenport, IA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Assumption won 60-50 in their recent league bout against Davenport West (Davenport, IA)

Next up, the River Kings play the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a Mississippi bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
