The Beulah Miners (Beulah, ND) basketball knocked off the visiting Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND), 51-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Miners (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Hazen (Hazen, ND). The Bison go into the B Region 7 test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Hazen notched a victory over Our Redeemer's Christian (Minot, ND), 59-55, in a non-league test.
The Lakers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Rugby for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. Des Lacs-Burlington will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 81-56 non-league win over South Prairie (Minot, ND). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
