Michigan High School Basketball - Bishop Foley nips Gabriel Richard

Bishop Foley Ventures (Madison Heights, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish (Ann Arbor, MI), 47-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop Foley upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Ventures host Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI) to play the Knights in a Catholic Intersectional I bout on Friday, January 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Shrine Catholic lost 73-36 in their recent non-league bout against St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI)

Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Gabriel Richard will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
