Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD), 62-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Blake upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Whitman (Bethesda, MD) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 8-1.

Next up, the Warriors play the Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Sherwood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
