The Botkins Trojans basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Riverside Pirates to 46 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Recovery for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7.

The Pirates (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Covington (Covington, OH). The Buccs enter the Three Rivers contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Covington was defeated by Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH), 53-34, in a league contest.
