Massachusetts High School Basketball - Braintree can't hold off Durfee

The Durfee Hilltoppers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Braintree Wamps to 59 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brockton for a South East match on Friday, January 6. Durfee will meet a Boxers team coming off a 70-66 league loss to Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA). The Boxers record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Braintree moves to 2-4 on the year. The Wamps travel to Needham (Needham, MA) to meet the Rockets in a Bay State - Herget match on Friday, January 6. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 4-1. Needham won 76-61 in their recent non-league match against Hingham (Hingham, MA)
