With the win, Richards upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Calvert (Calvert, TX) to play the Trojans in a 1A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, January 6. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-14. Calvert lost 80-55 in their recent league bout against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX)

Next up, the Badgers play the North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 29 bout, on Friday, January 6. Buckholts will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 63-33 league win over Round Top-Carmine (Carmine, TX).
