The Burke Bulldogs (Charleston, SC) basketball crushed the host St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC), 63-36 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Lowcountry Leadership (Hollywood, SC). The NaviGators go into the A Region 8 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Lowcountry Leadership was trounced by Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC), 71-19, in a league test.
The Islanders now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Military Magnet Academy for a A Region 8 test on Friday, January 6. St. John's will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 83-44 non-league loss to Stall (Charleston, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.
