Mississippi High School Basketball - Carroll Academy ripped by St. Joseph

The St. Joseph Fighting Irish basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Carroll Academy Rebels to 53 in the Fighting Irish league triumph on Tuesday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winona Christian for a MAIS 4A District 2 contest on Thursday, January 5. St. Joseph will meet a Stars team coming off a 56-50 non-league win over Tri-County Academy (Flora, MS). The Stars record now stands at 1-0.
The Rebels (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph (Greenville, MS). The Fighting Irish enter the MAIS 4A District 2 contest with a 6-0 record.
