With the victory, Glenvar upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to James River (Buchanan, VA) to play the Knights in a Three Rivers challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. James River won 67-64 in their recent league challenge against Floyd County (Floyd, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Carroll County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 51-31 league win over Galax (Galax, VA).
