The Cave Spring Knights basketball team (Roanoke, VA), was nudged 63-61 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA)
The Patriots now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christiansburg for a River Ridge battle on Thursday, January 5. Patrick Henry will battle a Blue Demons team coming off a 70-45 non-league loss to Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 1-10.
The Knights (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Salem (Salem, VA). The Spartans come into the River Ridge battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Salem was nudged by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 75-44, in a non-league battle.
