In Tuesday's league outing, the Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC) basketball squad beat the host Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix (North Charleston, SC), by a count of 66-53.
The Riptide (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Cross (Cross, SC). The Trojans go into the A Region 8 outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Cross defeated Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC), 70-62, in a league outing.
The Phoenix now hold a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Baptist Hill for a A Region 8 outing on Friday, January 6. Palmetto Scholars Academy will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 71-19 league win over Lowcountry Leadership (Hollywood, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-4.
