The Clarksville Academy Cougars basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the visiting Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints to 34 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goodpasture Christian for a Division II-A Middle District 4 contest on Friday, January 6. Clarksville Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-50 league win over Friendship Christian (Lebanon, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 12-1.

The Saints (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Nashville Christian (Nashville, TN). The Eagles come into the Division II-A Middle District 4 contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Nashville Christian was routed by Davidson Academy (Nashville, TN), 70-57, in a league contest.
