Georgia High School Basketball - Emanuel County Institute can't hold off Claxton

The Claxton Tigers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs to 44 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Savannah for a A D1 Region 3 contest on Friday, January 6. Claxton will battle a Bluejackets team coming off a 53-50 non-league win over Ocoee (Ocoee, FL). The Bluejackets record now stands at 11-4.
The Bulldogs (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers enter the A D2 Region 3 contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, McIntosh County Academy was nudged by Effingham County (Springfield, GA), 55-42, in a non-league contest.
