Clinton Warriors (Clinton, NY) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team achieve victory over the visiting Sherburne-Earlville Marauders (Sherburne, NY), 57-47 in a league battle.

The Warriors now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Markham for a Section 3 Center State III battle on Thursday, January 5. Clinton will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 77-41 non-league win over Onondaga (Nedrow, NY). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-3.

The Marauders (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Waterville (Waterville, NY). The Indians come into the Section 3 Center State III battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Waterville beat Notre Dame (Utica, NY), 99-65, in a non-league battle.
