With the victory, Collinsville upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Alvord (Alvord, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 13 bout on Friday, January 6. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Alvord won 51-48 in their recent league bout against Lindsay (Lindsay, TX)

Next up, the play the Era Hornets (Era, TX) in a 2A Region II District 13 bout, on Friday, January 6. Tioga will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 59-37 league win over Chico (Chico, TX).
