In Tuesday's league outing, the Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) basketball squad felled the host Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), by a margin of 57-46.

The Rockets (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers go into the Pioneer outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Bath County was beaten by Narrows (Narrows, VA), 66-42, in a league outing.
